Property Leads is a fast-growing startup building cutting-edge lead generation and data solutions for the real estate industry. We're a lean, high-impact team of 16, solving complex problems at the intersection of technology, data, and growth.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of challenging projects, contribute to our technical direction, and stay deeply engaged with the code. This role is hands-on and impactful — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and wants to directly influence the growth of a product and company.

You’ll work closely with the engineering and product teams to scale our technology, improve systems reliability, and help shape the next chapter of our platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain critical systems that support scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Contribute to architecture discussions and advocate for best practices in engineering.

  • Take ownership of projects from planning through production, ensuring quality and performance.

  • Dive into the codebase, especially for high-impact systems (distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, data pipelines).

  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and introduce tools, workflows, or frameworks that increase development speed and reliability.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated success delivering complex projects.

  • Strong expertise in distributed systems, backend APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in Python, AWS Lambda, MongoDB, and familiarity with ML/AI concepts.

  • Solid architectural skills and ability to make pragmatic design tradeoffs.

  • Track record of working effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with empathy for cross-team needs.

  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning projects end to end.
